Accidents do happen, and sometimes with a fatal outcome. A fire starts taking off in an isolated high-temperature area where both employees and foreign entrepreneurs are located. Due to already extreme temperatures and high noise levels, nobody has noticed the occurring danger. The situation is getting critical.
Finally, the fire alarm goes off and panic erupts. A stressful evacuation is immediately taking place with people trying to locate a way out.
A rescue team moves in to the area, leading people they can find to the nearest exit. As the predetermined rallying point starts filling up with workers, the questions remain: Who is still in danger, and where are they? Every second counts.

How it works
The Mobilaris Industrial Intelligence platform is easily deployed and used on different devices. It is introduced in 3 steps.
Get everyone to safety
In the event of an emergency, you must get everyone – employees, contractors and visitors – to safety quickly and in a controlled manner. Access to real-time information about the location of everyone on the site gives you full control over a potentially stressful emergency evacuation. People in evacuation zones can be instantly notified of the situation and told how to evacuate. All necessary information is visualized in a 3D map on a web browser and supplemented by safety status lists on the screen. The visualization allows rescue personnel to organize rescue operations and focus on the most critical tasks. Our evacuations support has proven that the evacuation time can be more than halved, with everyone making it safely to the evacuation point.
Detect emergencies and respond quickly in a controlled manner
By integrating sensor data from e.g., gas, fire and temperature sensors, etc., you can automate and trigger tailored actions for each situation. The situation is clearly visualized in the 3D interface, enabling instant control, and all relevant people are notified automatically. Detecting a potential danger fast and gaining an overview of the situation in real-time is essential for triggering the right actions before the situation escalates and places people in real danger.
Avoid accidents by warning people on the work floor in real time
If someone gets too close to dangerous machine, an overhead crane, a vehicle or a hazardous area, they are notified instantaneously and an accident is prevented. Personnel can be notified in various ways; for example, by means of vibrating tags, flashing lights or blinking safety vests, and they can continue to work safely on the work floor. Many contractors and employees at the site increase the risk level, but by automating notifications most of all severe workplace accidents can be avoided.
Avoid accidents by making safety information available for everyone
Ensure that safety information is available and easily accessed by all personnel, contractors and visitors at the site. The system interface provides a real-time overview of the important safety information for machines, areas, vehicles, equipment and points of interest (evacuation points, rescue showers, etc.). Many accidents occur as a result of a lack of safety information and often involve contractors who are temporarily visiting the site. By making information available for everyone, not only employees, accidents related to ignorance and language barriers can be avoided.
Increase the perceived safety for people working in shifts
Lone workers are often exposed to danger in areas where there are no colleagues to help them in the event of an accident. The lone worker is visualized in the systems interface and automated triggers can be configured to alert other operators if a deviation indicates that the person needs assistance. For instance, if a personnel tag has not moved for a certain amount of time, an accident may have happened and the system notifies personnel on site. The lone worker also has an alarm button that can be used to call for help.
Use historical data for planning and improving safety plans
The system is equipped to record and save historical data. This allows you to go back in time to see how the situation developed when an accident occurred, or to review safety drills and make improvements in safety procedures. The system is also an important tool for getting accurate incident reports. Different types of KPIs can be visualized and analyzed for follow up.
